My mission is to be real.
I write this “page” as a brand new mom (I am pumping as I type), not only am I a new parent, but I gave birth during a pandemic (thanks COVID), to say I have had a reckoning with myself and my identity over the past few months is an understatement.
I always say I hate change, and part of me does, but change also brings about self reflection, and being quarantined, I, LIKE MANY PEOPLE, have spent A LOT (too much) time on social media.
I have spent the past few months scrolling through photos, recipes, posts, videos, and feeling waves of anxiety, but also the desire to start blogging again. I felt this pull especially more as I research different aspects of becoming a new parent: prenatal care, postpartum care, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and the list goes on. I’ve blogged before about running and nutrition, and now I really want to add a new facet to this, and that is being a mom.
I ultimately desire this to be a page for people to find practical: recipes, & explanations.
